The first phase of steel cold rolling mill main drives modernisation in Colombia has been succesfully finished. The challenge of this step-wise project was to change the old DC motors and drives to a new more efficient and energy saving AC solution with AFE rectifier units while keeping temporarily the remain DC motors avoiding to affect the productivity of the mill.
MINO has been awarded by a South Korean customer one more contract for the supply of a new cold rolling mill for Aluminium alloys. The supply includes: MV main drives, standardised auxiliary panel, automation system L1 and L2 including pass-schedule automatic tuning and new AVANTI TCS AGC/AFC process control system.
MINO has been awarded for a complete new Titanium cold rolling mill. This challenging project demonstrates the design flexibility to build a new rolling mill able to reach high quality standards of product with such special hard alloys of rolled material. MINO Automation supply includes main drives and aux panels, automation and tailored AGC for the new application.

With a new repeated order in Greece, for the modernisation of a Thin Gauge Aluminium mill MINO Automation supply a complete new automation system including PLC, AVANTI AGC/AFC process control, main drives. The supply also includes new entry and exit mechanical equipment with new spray bar and shapemeter roll everything perfectly tailored in a limited mill layout.
